NorCal Summer Gathering 2012

I went to a cosplay picnic kind of dealio a few weeks ago and gave a few photoshoots to people. Here are some of my favorite shots:

That last photo is me! I think this is one of my favorite pictures ever taken of me. :) I look different with long hair, don't I? lol

I'm going to a convention this friday for photoshoots. Hopefully my knee can stand it @_@ I should be fine though. I found my old knee brace from high school and since I've lost weight it fits a lot better on my leg.

I hope to have some outfit pictures soon! I really miss taking them, I just wish I had someone to shoot for me :( It's a lot easier.

Tennis knee

It seems like every time I play tennis, I dislocate my knee cap.

The funniest part is, I had the strongest instinct to skip this class and just drop it afterwards, but I wanted to be a good girl and go to class.

Good going.

So after having a ~100 degree fever for a week, the next day I get better I am back on bed rest.

It's been a little over a week since it happened and I can walk without a brace on but I am very very slow and limping. It hurts when I bend it, and I can tell my other knee is getting hurt from having to bear most of my weight all the time. But my bad luck should be ending soon. Bad luck comes in threes (The last thing that happened was that a piece of my sonic screwdriver broke off :'c ) so I should be done by now. This is why I haven't been posting any new outfits, even though I desperately want to.

I bought a white vest from the big Romwe.com sale going on. It ends on the 31st, so check it out!

I can't wait to style it.

I might be getting a tattoo next year as well! I want to get a heart in white ink on my wrist.... even though I'm terrified of needles. My friends and I are going to stay a weekend in Berkeley and they all want piercings and tattoos, so I feel like I will end up getting peer pressured into it unless I chicken out (which I most likely will)

I did this little doodle earlier tonight. A lot of my friends are suck talented artists ;-; I want to get better at art because they are so awesome! Check out this one piece from my friend Sarah:

Anime Expo 2012 (Tons of pics!)

So first off I'd like to say that driving down to LA sucks and is very boring. Also don't eat or drink anything on the way down. I made it all the way down with only one stop for gas thankfully.

The first day I got there we (Sarah, Mel, Yez, Vonnie, Blanca and Edith) all piled into Yez's car and went to Hollywood to look at things and get her fitted for one of her costumes she unfortunately didn't wear to AX.

Mels watch that we were all lusting over. Yez and Sarah bought one and now I'm wanting one too!

This guy was making amazing street art with spray paint! Sarah bought one of his pieces.

Then that night we all tried to help Yez make her keychains to sell at the con and we tried to pack and get everything ready for the con!

I was the only person who pre registered for the convention, so I waited in a giant line while they all went and bought theirs. We finished about the same time though!

My friends had an Adventure Time group! Yesenia was Marceline, Kyra was Marshall Lee, Vonnie was Finn and Edith was Princess Bubblegum. They were really popular!

I was going to wear my Heartshooter Miku costume but my pigtails were too tangled. I try to buy a new wig at the convention but the company brought the wrong color. :|

This R2-D2! We couldn't find who was controlling it. It actually moved around and I think it beeped too. It was really cool we stood there for so long trying to figure out who was controlling it.
